The Bucklin Schools Technology Committee wants to make you a winner! There are two separate contests. The first contest is for an i-Pod Touch. Parents who come to the school during parent-teacher conferences on February 16 or February 23 between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and complete the online survey in the school cafeteria will be entered to win. In addition, they will also be helping their child(ren) to possibly win their class pizza party competition. JANUARY SADD STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

The BHS SADD January Student of the Month is senior Brock D. Brock’s favorite color is gold and he likes to eat steak. His favorite subject is weights and if he could teach a glass it would be weights “…because I could be in the weight room all day!” Brock’s activities include: football, SMILE, and scholars bowl. Elementary School Celebration of Successes

The elementary school held it’s second nine weeks award assembly on Friday, January 13, 2012. The first assembly involved the Kindergarten and First Grade classes. Mrs. McGee and Mrs. Evans presented students with “Impact” certificates. There were three different categories of Impact awards that presented students with different challenges to meet depending on which award they received.
