What Serendipity Is All About

    Serendipity, sponsored by Mrs. Pam Rhodes, is a girls community service
organization for young women to help better their community and to give the
opportunity to do something for someone else. There is nothing more
rewarding that to benefit from helping those in need or simply just doing a
good deed.

    President Kalli commented “ Serendipity is great because people can
take time out of their busy schedules to help others and the world.” Other
members of Serendipity include: Lauren, Kirstie, Abbey, Abbi, Caitlyn, Megan, Mariah,      Ashley, Tiffany, Emily, Samantha, Danye, Courtney, Gillian, and Cassandra.

    Friday October 10th, was breast cancer awareness night where some of the
members of Serendipity put together tables and sold items such as: shirts,
tote bags, blankets, travel mugs, umbrellas, water bottles, and rubber
ducks. They also gave away pens at the gate, and earned about $250.00 to go
towards the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
