On Friday, November 20th, the annual Thanksgiving dinner was
served in the cafeteria at Bucklin Schools. Among the 364 people
served were 71 adult and 9 child guests from the community.
The meal consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn,
stuffing, sweet potatoes, homemade rolls, numerous salads and
desserts, including pumpkin pie with whipped topping.
A big “Thank you” goes out to head cook Rhonda Stout and her
kitchen staff, Glenda Mack, Terry Fisher, Mary Warnke and all the
helpers, Ray and Pat Fisher, Lori Hearne, Molly Pegelow, and Mr.
Dusin.
Also a special thanks to the JH Team Leaders who ate lunch with
elementary students whose parents were not able to make it.
