SADD November Students of the Month

The BHS SADD November Student of the Month is senior Jon C.
Jon’s favorite color is blue and he likes too many foods to pick
one favorite. His favorite subjects are shop and welding classes
and those are the ones he would chose to teach because “…you get to
build stuff and it’s hands on.” Jon has participated in basketball,
golf, and FCA while in high school. His main hobbies are doing
anything that is hands on, for example building and mechanics. He
also enjoys spending time hanging out with his friends. Jon likes
to watch television and movies. He also is a KU and Miami Dolphins
fan. When he graduates he is looking to attend college at NWKTC or
WyoTech. Jon is the son of Dale and Fredonia & Brad. He
has 3 siblings: Michael (27), Joshua (16), and Hannah (15).
Jared S. has been selected as the 5th – 8th grade SADD November
Student of the Month. Jared is in the 5h grade at Bucklin Junior
High. Science is his favorite subject and that is the class he
would like to teach if given a choice. He likes to read True Escape
stories and Star Wars VI is his favorite movie. Blue is Jared’s
favorite color and eggs are what he likes to eat. During his free
time he likes to watch the television show Dirty Jobs. Jared is
also a KU fan and enjoys participating in football, basketball, and
baseball. He is the son of Toby & Gina. Jared has 3 sisters:
Danae (6), Makenna (4), and Whitney (2).
Catherine B. is the Preschool – 4th grade SADD November Student of the Month. Catherine is in the 1st grade at Bucklin Elementary School. Her favorite part of the day is recess and she enjoys studying math. Catherine loves to eat spaghetti and she likes the color blue. Her favorite television show is Phineas & Ferb and she also likes to watch The Sound of Music movie. If she had to pick a book to read Catherine would select one from the Little House on the Prairie Series. When she isn’t at school Catherine enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, & basketball. She is the daughter of Craig & LynAnn. She has 4 siblings: Nathan (5), Andres (3 1/2), Isabel (1), and Claire (2 months).
