SEPTEMBER SADD STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
The BHS SADD September Student of the Month is senior Ashley.
Ashley’s favorite color is purple and she likes to eat grilled
cheese
sandwiches. Art is her favorite subject and that is the class she
would
chose to teach because “…I like to draw.” Ashley is involved in
several
activities at BHS. She is currently the volleyball manager and has
also
served as the basketball manager. She is a member of FCA. Her
main
hobbies are babysitting and swimming. If she has time to watch
television
she would tune into 7th Heaven. Her favorite movie is Mean Girls
and she
likes the book A Walk to Remember. She is also a loyal K-State
fan.
Ashley has two siblings: Gage (6) and Makayla (12). She is the
daughter of
Shane and Sherry.
Student of the Month. Mariah is in the 8th grade at Bucklin Junior High.
She currently is a member of the BJH volleyball team & also competes in
basketball and track. Mariah also likes gymnastics. Math is her favorite
subject but if she could teach a subject it would be art because “…it’s fun
to do.” Candy is the best book she has read and Bones is the television
show she enjoys watching. Lime green and blue are Mariah’s favorite colors
and Taco Bell burritos are what she loves to eat. Scary Movie 2 is a
favorite movie of hers. During her free time she likes to play sports or
just be outside. Mariah is the daughter of Dave and Gail. She has
four siblings: Vanessa (25), Elaine (23), Brianna (16) and Skyler (9).
Rileigh is the Preschool – 4th grade SADD September Student of the
Month. Rileigh is in kindergarten at Bucklin Elementary School. Her
favorite part of the day is playing outside or writing, “especially my
name!” Rileigh’s favorite food is chicken and she likes the color pink.
Her favorite television show is Sponge Bob Square Pants and she also likes
to watch the movie, Cinderella. If she had to pick a book to read she would
select The Mouse Book. When she isn’t at school Rileigh likes to paint and
play football with her Uncle Ben. She is the daughter of Jessica and Cody.
