Bucklin Junior High Red Deuces Football

Bucklin Red Deuces lost to the Meade Buffaloes Thursday night by
a score
of 54-38. Bucklin was led in scoring by Blake D. with 3
touchdowns.
Blake scored on a 79 yard kickoff return down the left sideline and
49 yard
run around the left end. Blake scored his third touchdown on what
was
suppose to be a pass play off of a double reverse, a play that is
called
"Razzle Dazzle". He couldn't find a receiver, so Blake tucked the
ball and
ran 25 yards for the score. Blake also threw a touchdown pass off
the play
"Razzle Dazzle" to Brett H. that covered 32 yards. Brett scored
his
second touchdown with a 30 yard scamper around the left end. Trevon
H. rounded out the scoring with a 30 yard run around the right end
and Trevon
also scored the only PAT of the night for the Red Deuces.
On the defensive side of the ball many mighty Deuces contributed to
the
tackle chart. Coach Coverdale was pleased with how quickly the team
has
picked up on the new 3-2 defense and the multiple stunts the Deuces
run.

The Red Deuces take on the colorful Fowler Goldbugs next
Thursday at
Carlin Field. The game will start at 6:30. Come out and see if the
Deuces
can complete another double reverse pass, "Razzle Dazzle" for a
touchdown!
