JH Football vs Kiowa County

The Bucklin Red Deuces finished the football season with a 36-54 loss to
Kiowa County. The game was played on the new turf field in Greensburg. The
Deuces struck first on a pass play from JaQuan M. to Anthony J.
Anthony ran in the extra point and the Deuces led 8-0. Kiowa County scored a
touchdown and extra point to tie the game. JaQuan ran in for a touchdown,
the extra point failed and the Deuces led 14-8. Kiowa County scored a TD and
extra point to take the lead 16-14. JaQuan scored two more touchdowns and
extra points to give the Deuces a 30-14 lead. Kiowa County scored a
touchdown with 18 seconds to go in the first half to cut the lead to 30-22.
Kiowa County scored the next 24 points to take a 46-30 lead. The Red
Deuces scored a fourth quarter touchdown on a scrambling pass play from
JaQuan to Trey D. The extra point try failed and the Deuces trailed
36-46. Kiowa County tacked on 8 more points to make the final score 36-54.
JaQuan McDonald led the tackle chart with 10 unassisted tackles and 3
assist. Anthony J. 5-7, Lakin P. 3-4, Trey D. 2-4, Colton D.
1-2, Josh M. 0-3, Jac C. 0-2, Tanner Dow 0-2, and Colin S. 0-1.
Tanner C.rounded out the 11 Deuces who saw action against Kiowa
County.
The Red Deuces finished the season with a 4-3 record. This was the first
winning season since 2003. Congratulations Deuces!!!
