Lady Deuces Win Two In a Row

The Bucklin Lady Deuces volleyball team hosted the South
Central
Timberwolves, Thursday, September 17th. Both the B and A teams
earned wins
on the night. The B team won in 2 sets, 25-20 and 25-7 behind the
serving
of Darja M. Darja served 14 straight points for the Deuces in
the
second set.
The A team struggled early in the match but got on track for a
25-16 and
25-18 win. Morgan H and Caitlyn D. had the hot serving hands.
Morgan served up 12 points in the second set while Caitlyn had 13 points.
The Lady Deuces are now 2-1 for the season and 2-0 in league play.
The C team concluded the night 1-1. The match ended earlier due to the time
restriction placed on the game. They lost the first set 13-25, but rallied
for a win in set 2, 25-17. Taylor L. led all servers with 8 points.
Next action for the Lady Deuces is Thursday, September 24th at home vs. the
Ashland Bluejays.
