Deuces Lose in Two At Spearville

The Bucklin Lady Deuces concluded their regular season at Spearville,
Thursday October 16th. The A team kept it close early in game one, before
the Lancers went on a late run in the game to seal a 14 – 25 win. In the
second game the Deuces could never get on track losing 7 – 25.

In B team action the Bucklin ladies handed the Lancer their first defeat of
the season, winning in 3 games 25 – 21, 23 – 25, and 25 – 23. The entire
team played well, winning by working together and staying focused.

Charmayne had the hot serving hands, scoring 25 points in
the 3 games. The B team ended their season with a 5 – 1 – 1 record.

The C team also played at Spearville, losing in 2 games 14 – 25, and 7 – 25.
Kat led all servers with 5 points. This team has progressed
tremendously throughout the season and big things are expected from them
next year.

The A team will compete in the league tournament hosted in Bucklin, Monday
October 20th.
