OCTOBER SADD STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

The BHS SADD October Student of the Month is junior Leo V.
Leo’s
favorite color is red and he likes eating steak with mashed
potatoes and
garlic bread. He would wash it down with a Mountain Dew. Chemistry
is his
favorite subject and that is the subject he would most like to
teach
because, “ I enjoy blowing stuff up.” Leo is an active participant
in many
of the activities offered at BHS. He competes in football,
basketball, and
track and is also a member of FCA. October Sky is Leo’s favorite
book and
in his spare time he likes to watch the tv show, That 70’s Show or
the Texas
Longhorns athletic teams. Leo has two siblings: Isaac (14), and
Roxie (8).
He is the son of Rosa and Leo.
Taylor S. has been selected as the 5th – 8th grade SADD October Student
of the Month. Taylor is in the 8th grade at Bucklin Junior High. She is a
current member of the Lady Deuces volleyball team and will play basketball
this winter. Math is Taylor’s favorite subject, but physical education is
the class she would like to teach because, “I like sports.” Purple is her
favorite color and steak her food of choice In her spare time Taylor enjoys
playing with her cats, watching the Beverly Hillbillies, and supporting her
favorite team, the K-State Wildcats. She is the daughter of Rhonda and Joe and has two brothers, Matt (20) and Jon (18).
Jared S. is the Preschool – 4th grade SADD October Student of
the Month.
Jared is in the 4th grade at Bucklin Elementary School. His top
subjects in
school are P.E., “lunch”, and “recess”, in which he can eat his
favorite
food (any kind of pasta) and play his favorite game (football).
Dunston
Checks In is Jared’s favorite book and he also enjoys watching the
movie
Star Wars and the television show, Cory in the House. Orange is
Jared’s
favorite color and he is an avid KU Jayhawks fan. He has three
sisters:
Danae (5), Mackenna (3), and Whitney (1). Jared is the son of Gina
and Toby.
